Autumn 2020 marked the 50 year anniversary of architect Aarno Ruusuvuori’s renovation of City Hall, based on his “Stone Zoo” proposal. Step inside and experience first-hand its atmosphere and history. Here, you can admire Anitra Lucander’s bold and vibrant colours, which seamlessly complement Ruusuvuori’s modern architecture. You can also take guided video tours that explore the art, architecture, and inner workings of the capital city’s venerated powder blue landmark, the Helsinki City Hall.
